Riverside
Overlooking the river below Te Mata Peak, this furnishing and styling project transformed a cool white and grey interior into a warm, inviting home. Inspired by the architecture of the home and the surrounding olive grove and landscape, AG D. introduced a Mediterranean-influenced palette, layering natural materials, texture and timeless furnishings to create a calm, cohesive interior with a strong connection to place.
Initially envisioned as an all-white retreat, the primary bedroom and walk-in wardrobe evolved through a considered exploration of materiality, tone and texture. Studio AG D. guided the client towards a palette of warm neutrals, creating a space with greater depth, softness and a sense of calm. The result is a restful sanctuary that exceeded the client's expectations
