Haumoana House
A home seamlessly rooted in its surroundings, exuding timeless presence. Every detail, from materials and fixtures to kitchen, bathroom, and soft furnishing, was chosen for warmth and texture. The furniture chosen blends vintage, local craftsmanship, and iconic international pieces, enhanced by New Zealand art, adding a cultural layer to the serene ambiance.
This family residence nestled in the picturesque hills of the Tuki Valley was a collaborative effort between Glamuzina Architects and AG D. with landscaping by Xanthe White Design.
Our primary aim was to craft a dwelling that seamlessly integrated with the natural hues and textures of the Hawkes Bay landscape, evoking a timeless sense of belonging. To achieve this, we meticulously selected materials and colors that exuded warmth and earthiness, resulting in a harmonious blend with the surroundings. Every detail, from surface materials to fixtures, kitchen and bathroom design, and soft furnishings, was meticulously selected to enhance the space's inviting warmth and tactile appeal.
